Join our school community for a six-week temporary assignment and use your technical expertise to ensure staff and students have the reliable ICT support they need to thrive every day.

The position is on a temporary full-time basis of 5 days per week for 6 weeks - 6 October to 13 November. The hours for this position are 7:15 to 3:00 pm - 7.25 hours per day.

Progressional roles show a salary range spanning two classifications. Appointment will be made at the level appropriate to skill and fulfilment of required criteria.

Your Role:

The School Technical Officer plays an integral role in supporting teaching and learning by ensuring the school's information and communication technology (ICT) systems operate efficiently and effectively.

n

The role provides technical support to staff and students, maintains and troubleshoots a wide range of ICT equipment and infrastructure, and assists with the ongoing management of the school's network setting.

n

Working collaboratively with the school community and departmental support teams, the position contributes to a high-quality learning environment by delivering responsive customer service,



providing technical advice and helping maximise the effective use of technology across the school.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

- Provide responsive technical support to staff and students, resolving ICT issues and delivering excellent customer service.
n
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of ICT equipment, including computers, printers, audiovisual devices and network hardware.
n
- Support the operation and maintenance of the school's ICT network, ensuring systems are reliable, secure and fit for purpose.
n
- Provide technical advice and guidance to staff to maximise the effective use of technology in teaching, learning and school operations.
n
- Maintain ICT assets, infrastructure and related records, while working collaboratively with departmental support teams to deliver effective technology solutions..
