Title: Metal Fabricator Occupation: Metal Fabricator (ANZSCO 322311) Salary: $79,500 plus super Hours: Full time Trading Name: Ford Brothers Fencing Employer: FBF PTY LTD Location: 70 Hoopers Rd, Kunda Park QLD 4556 Experience Required: min 1 year in a relevant role Duties: Some of the duties you will be required to perform include:

- Interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to establish fabrication requirements.
n
- Selecting suitable metal stock and cleaning and preparing materials before fabrication.
n
- Measuring, marking and cutting metal sections and components using hand tools, mechanical cutting equipment, band saws, drop saws, oxy-fuel cutting equipment and other metal-cutting machinery.
n
- Forming,



shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using manual and powered tools and machinery, including press brakes, benders, rollers and guillotines, with heating and hammering where required.
n
- Positioning and aligning components prior to assembly using hand tools, measuring equipment and precision instruments.
n
- Welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium using MIG and TIG welding processes.
n
- Complying with quality inspection and test plans, including inspecting your own work and conducting quality checks to ensure fabricated products meet required specifications.
