- Kafka broker architecture, schema registry, Kafka Connect, consumer groups, Confluent Platform / Confluent Cloud experience

- Eventing standards and governance guardrails/enforcement/development; event‐driven use‐case design, development, and implementation (outside of Kafka platform architecture)

- Cloud infrastructure: GCP Compute, GCS (or relevant experience in AWS or Azure)
n
- Monitoring and observability: Current Relic, Sumo Logic (or relevant experience in Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, etc.)
n
- Platform access controls and security concepts: ACL/RBAC controls, OAuth 2.0 client credentials Flow, mTLS, TLS, certificate management, secrets management

The requirement is for engineers experienced with Kafka (specifically Confluent Platform but preferably Cloud), who have experience designing, building, and supporting event‐driven services, and have a solid background in DevOps, Platform Engineering, and SRE.
