About the Role

n

Perilya is seeking experienced and safety-focused Cable Bolter Operators to join our underground mining team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-performing underground operation where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are at the forefront of everything we do.

As a Cable Bolter Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining underground ground support standards and ensuring safe production outcomes across the mine.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cable bolting equipment while contributing to the achievement of daily production and development targets.
n
- Safely operate underground cable bolting equipment.
n
- Install and maintain cable bolts and associated ground support systems.
n
- Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
n
- Identify and report ground conditions, hazards, and maintenance issues.
n
- Work collaboratively with Development and Production crews.
n
- Follow site safety systems, procedures, and statutory requirements.
n




- Assist with other underground mining activities as required.
n
- Maintain accurate production and safety records.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

n

n
- Previous experience operating a Cable Bolter in an underground hard-rock mining environment.
n
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Ability to work rotating rosters and underground conditions.
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
n

Desirable Qualifications

n

n
- Truck Licence.
n
- Underground Service Crew or Development experience.
n
- Vocational competencies relevant to underground mining.
n
- First Aid Certificate.
n
- Working at Heights and Confined Space training.
n
