Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking motivated 1st Year Light Vehicle Apprentices to join one of our host employers in Essendon Fields, VIC. You'll gain hands-on experience in a professional workshop while completing an AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

If you've completed a Certificate II in Automotive or a pre-apprenticeship course, this is a fantastic opportunity to put your skills into practice and begin your automotive career.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Working alongside qualified technicians, you'll learn how to:

n

n




- Service and maintain a wide range of vehicles.
n
- Diagnose and repair engine, brake, suspension and electrical systems.
n
- Replace and repair mechanical components.
n
- Conduct vehicle inspections, testing and performance checks.
n
- Use modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
n
- Follow manufacturer procedures and workplace safety standards.
n
- Support workshop operations and assist customers when required.
n

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and ready to begin a long-term career in the automotive industry.

To be successful, you'll have:

- A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry.
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n
- A robust work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
n
- Good attention to detail.
n
- A current driver's licence (P1 or above preferred).
n
- A Certificate II in Automotive or a completed pre-apprenticeship course.
