Matchmaster Communications is seeking a Store Person to join our team on a full-time basis at our Hallam, VIC location. This role is central to our warehousing and distribution operations, providing essential support to ensure our inventory is efficiently managed, organised and readily available for dispatch. As Store Person, you will play a key part in maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our facility, directly contributing to our ability to deliver quality products to our customers on time.

What you'll be doing
n
Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and stock items
n
Accurately recording stock movements using warehouse management systems
n
Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations to maximise space efficiency
n
Picking and packing orders in preparation for dispatch to customers
n
Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy
n
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly
n
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
n
Assisting with general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping duties
n
Communicating effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels and warehouse operations
n
What we're looking for
n
At least one year's experience in a similar role, but more valuable will be an enthusiastic attitude. Reliability & attention to detail being your most key qualities.
n
Ideally you will possess a Fork Lift Licence, however an eager candidate with an interest and ability in this area could be accommodated.
n
A full driving licence is required, preferably with experience of driving a delivery van.
n
Computer use plays a central role in managing all stock movements. You will be a fast learner & comfortable with correlating each stock movement with related data entry onto the computer system.
