Building People Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly respected boutique apartment builder delivering architecturally designed residential projects across South East Queensland. Known for quality over volume, the business works closely with long-standing consultants and some of the best non-EBA trade partners in the South-East Queensland.

Your Job

n

You will initially join a landmark luxury apartment development in Brisbane valued at $100m+, managing the commercial administration of the penthouse component of the project. This will involve working closely with senior project leadership and coordinating with high-end trades and suppliers to deliver the most premium elements of the development.

n

Following completion of this stage, the role transitions into leading the contracts administration of your own boutique luxury apartment project valued at approximately $60m, scheduled to commence in October of this year.

n

This is a rare pathway into running your own project within a builder that specialises in technically detailed, high-quality apartment developments.

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage subcontract procurement, scope reviews and contract administration
n
- Administer variations, progress claims and cost reporting
n
- Work closely with project management and site teams to maintain commercial control of the project
n




- Assist in maintaining programme and commercial outcomes across the project lifecycle
n
- Support project delivery from early works, construction through to completion.

Your Experience

n

n
- 5+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial or apartment construction
n
- Experience working on apartment, mixed-use or complex commercial projects
n
- Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and cost control
n
- Ability to manage subcontractor relationships professionally and collaboratively
n
- High attention to detail with solid commercial acumen
n
- Comfortable working within experienced teams where accountability and ownership are expected
