Your new role:

n

Local to Dandenong, your current role will see you reporting to the Maintenance Manager working 3pm – 11pm. Some overtime will occur on occasion. Your new role will see you minimise downtime, enhance production output, and uphold plant facilities in a safe, timely and clean way.

n

You will adhere to preventative & reactive maintenance, saftey improvements, machine and equipment housekeeping, CI projects, reporting and record keeping.

n

Specifically, your new role will see you:

n

n
- Working on allocated tickets, MEX / CMMS system, and adhering to PMS and reactive;
n
- Adhering to diagnostics - responsible for site machinery (including CNC driven machines), aircon maintenance, MIG welding, adherence to plant schedules and absolute commitment to saftey first & 5S;
n
- Commissioning or installing new / existing plant equipment, servicing and overhauling various pumps, conveyor systems servicing repairs;
n
- Training & development activities related to responsibilities;
n
- Capability to read and complete engineering drawings as needed;
n
- Maintaining accurate records of spare parts and machinery reporting,
n
- Ability to work across various projects, and multitask; and
n
- Paramount will be your commitment to OH&S.;
n

What you need to succeed:

n

n
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance Fitting, and formally qualified;
n
- Proficiency in using workshop machines and interpreting mechanical drawings;
n
- Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge at intermediate to advanced levels;
n




- Desirable – MIG welding, forklift licence, robotics, PLC knowledge, e-coat, and powder coat systems, laser and press brake knowledge, Motorman & ABB robotics, scissor / boom licence, confined space, and / or working at heights;
n
- Live local to Dandenong & surrounding suburbs and seeking an immediate, permanent opportunity;
n
- Proven experience within best practice organisations (automotive, defence, aerospace manufacturing); and
n
- A team player, dedicated to deadlines, & execution of excellence in delivery and the tenacity to achieve timely solutions.
