Senior Analyst, Operational Risk . 12 Month Contract (Day Rate)

A leading Australian bank is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join their Operational Risk team on a 12-month day rate contract.

About the role

n

You'll help measure and report on the organisation's operational risks, working with loss data, risk models, and stakeholder reporting to support better risk decision-making across the business.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Analysing historical loss data and emerging risk trends
n
- Managing and reconciling internal risk data with finance systems
n
- Building reports and dashboards to communicate risk insights to leadership
n
- Supporting risk models used for scenario analysis and stress testing
n




- Working with stakeholders across risk, finance, and the wider business
n

n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 3+ years' experience in data analysis or quantitative modelling
n
- Experience in financial services
n
- Robust Excel/SQL/Power BI/Tableau (or similar) skills
n
- Great communication skills and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
n
- Operational risk experience is preferred, but candidates with a credit risk background are also encouraged to apply
n
- Full working rights in Australia required (no visa sponsorship)
