We are seeking a Recovery Coach to join our Mental Health and Wellbeing team. Make a real impact in this rewarding position which is responsible for coordinating and delivering recovery-oriented coaching activities.

n

Reporting to the Team Leader – Mental Health and Wellbeing, you will work in partnership with people experiencing severe mental illness and emotional distress, providing one-to-one coaching sessions and facilitating group programs that support skill development, personal recovery goals and overall wellbeing. The role also supports referral pathways, and accurate documentation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

n

- Deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented one-to-one coaching sessions
n
- Facilitate and design group programs focused on mental health and wellbeing
n
- Support participants to develop and implement personal recovery plans
n
- Maintain accurate client records, data entry and reporting
n
- Build and maintain effective referral pathways and stakeholder relationships
n
- Contribute to service development,



quality documentation and continuous improvement
n
- Work collaboratively as part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing team
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant human services field, or significant demonstrated experience
n
- Strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice and coaching principles
n
- Experience supporting people with severe mental illness and/or psychosocial disability
n
- Well-developed group facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Knowledge of community support services
n
- Robust organisation, time management and teamwork skills
n

Requirements

n

n
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain) – No Card, No Start applies
n
- Current National Police Certificate
n
- Ability to work flexible hours if required
n
