This state-of-the-art facility in Frenchs Forest provides 488 beds for both public and private patients, featuring a 50-bed Emergency Department and a 20-bed intensive care unit. The successful candidate will join a motivated Dietetics Department as a Level 1-2 Clinical Dietitian, focusing on delivering thorough nutritional assessments and evidence-based interventions for both inpatients and outpatients. Working within a high-functioning multidisciplinary team, the clinician will play a pivotal role in patient recovery while assisting with student supervision, quality improvement activities, and overall service development in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation Details

This full-time, permanent role offers a market-competitive salary commensurate with the Level 1-2 grading, with specific rates discussed during the recruitment process based on clinical experience.

Requirements and Role Expectations

- Professional Qualifications: Must hold a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or an equivalent qualification that meets full membership requirements for the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).

- Clinical Experience: Recent experience in acute care clinical dietetics is essential to effectively manage a high-volume workload and meet the demands of a complex hospital setting.

- Skill Set: Requires a professional with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

- Operational Proficiency: The clinician must demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload demands, meet deadlines, and actively participate in quality improvement and service evaluation processes.
