The Opportunity

n

We are seeking an experienced and mechanically minded Manufacturing Technician to join our high-performance production team. This role is ideal for someone mechanically minded with experience operating machinery who is looking to apply their hands-on experience in a precision manufacturing environment.

n

Working on advanced cooling technology used in elite motorsport, aerospace and defence applications, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, quality standards are upheld, and best practices are maintained. You will also act as a role model on the floor, supporting and guiding less experienced team members while maintaining exceptional workmanship standards.

n

Key Responsibilities

- Work across specialised production areas as required.
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve process and production issues.
n




- Optimise workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
n
- Prepare and assemble high-performance cooling components with precision.
n
- Interpret technical drawings and job specifications accurately.
n
- Conduct detailed visual and technical inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
n
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to less experienced team members.
n
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with safety procedures.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Monitor material usage and report discrepancies.
n
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.
n

Key Competencies

n

n
- Strong mechanical background with several years' experience in a technical or trade-based role (e.g. mechanic, fitter, technician or similar).
n
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or production issues.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
n
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is highly regarded.
n
- Strong understanding of safety and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.
n
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and waste reduction.
