At Shared Beginnings, we're looking for a nurturing, confident and passionate Nursery Room Leader to lead our Nursery room (1-2) and create a calm, loving and responsive setting where some of our youngest learners feel safe, secure, and celebrated every day.

n

This is a hands‐on leadership role where relationships, routines and intentional practice truly matter.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Leading a high-quality Nursery program focused on attachment, responsiveness, and wellbeing
n
- Creating predictable, nurturing routines for sleep, feeding and play
n
- Mentoring and supporting educators to deliver best practice in infant care
n
- Building solid, trusting partnerships with families during this special first stage of learning
n
- Ensuring safe, stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environments
n
- Maintaining strong documentation, compliance, and alignment with EYLF v2.0
n




- Championing child safety, wellbeing, and inclusive practice
n

n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
n
- Experience leading or working confidently within a Nursery setting
n
- Deep understanding of infant development, attachment theory, and responsive caregiving
n
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and child-safe practices
n
- Calm, warm leadership style with excellent communication skills
n
- A genuine love for working with babies and supporting families
n
