Family owned and operated, PremiAir Hire is a fast-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the dry-hire, service and sales of equipment including air compressors, generators and distribution, portable lighting towers, message boards and traffic management products (temporary road barriers, road plates, TMA's and Utes) as well as providing in office refuelling.

Given our strong business growth and expansion, we have an exciting recent opportunity for an experienced and reliable Auto Electrician(12V) to join our busy facility located in Eastern Creek.

n

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain diesel-driven hire equipment including Compressors, Generators, Light Towers and a variety of vehicles and trucks.

Duties

n

Testing and troubleshooting and repair on a range of low-voltage equipment

n

Perform scheduled electrical maintenance and repair as required

n

Electrical service checks, fault finding, repair and maintenance of vehicles and traffic equipment

n

Administrative tasks relevant to the position

n





Be part of an on-call roster

n

Skills and Experience

n

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

n

Appropriate Auto Electrician/Low-Voltage experience and qualifications with own basic tools of trade

n

Has a valid manual Driver's Licence

n

Has a HR Licence class or higher

n

A forklift licence is preferred but not essential to be considered for this role

n

Previous experience working on traffic management equipment including Truck-Mounted Attenuators will be highly regarded

n

Can work unsupervised and can follow instructions

n

Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work

n

Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics

n

Strong diagnosis and problem-solving skills

n

Works with a sense of urgency and is focused on providing the best possible service to our customers

n

Can work overtime, including weekends when needed and be part of an after-hours on-call roster

n

Has a stable work history and checkable work references

n

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude.
