ABOUT THE ROLE
n
We are seeking a capable and driven Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis at Mounties, in Mount Pritchard.
n
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that enhance product performance and support strategic decision making.
n
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:
n
n
- Analyse gaming product performance, player behaviour, and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
n
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and turn business and data requirements into meaningful analytical outputs
n
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards and automated reporting using Power BI
n
- Perform complex data extraction, validation, and querying using MySQL
n
- Apply advanced analytics and AI techniques for forecasting,
segmentation, and trend analysis
n
- Translate data insights into explicit, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
n
- Continuously improve data processes, reporting frameworks, and analytical methodologies
n

ABOUT YOU
n
To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:
n
n
- Extensive understanding of gaming products, performance metrics, player behaviour, and regulatory considerations
n
- Strong analytical capability with experience working on large, complex datasets
n
- Proven ability to gather, analyse, and translate business and data requirements into actionable insights
n
- Proficiency in MySQL for data extraction, validation, and complex querying
n
- Advanced Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX measures, dashboard design, and automated reporting
n
- Experience applying AI or advanced analytics for forecasting, segmentation, trend analysis, or process optimisation
n
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a continuous improvement mindset
n
