About the role

n

As a Registered Midwife, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high‐quality, evidence‐based care to women and newborns. You will work across a range of midwifery settings and actively contribute to positive patient experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering evidence‐based midwifery care across the maternity journey
n




- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
n
- Providing a high standard of customer‐focused care to women and families
n
- Ensuring patient, newborn and staff safety at all times
n
- Upholding professional, ethical and clinical standards
n

n

Essential criteria

n

n
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a midwife
n
- Minimum 2 year post‐graduate midwifery experience
n
- Demonstrated experience across all areas of midwifery, including:n n
- Antenatal care
n
- Postnatal care
n
- Labour & Delivery
n
- Special Care Baby Unit
n
- Outpatients
n

n
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Professional, respectful and compassionate approach to care
n
