Business Development Manager - Perth or Canberra

Our client is a well-established technology services organisation hiring for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across a portfolio of enterprise customers.

Reporting to a senior leader, you'll be responsible for developing trusted client relationships, identifying recent business opportunities, and delivering commercial outcomes across existing and prospective accounts. This is a strategic, customer-facing role where you'll partner with key stakeholders to understand their business priorities and align technology solutions that create measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.

- Build strong executive relationships and become a trusted advisor.

- Identify opportunities to expand services and deliver long-term account growth.

- Develop compelling commercial proposals and business cases.

- Work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes.

- Monitor account performance, commercial metrics, and profitability.

- Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on pipeline, growth, and customer engagement.

About You

- They are looking for someone with either IT Recruitment experince who's looking to get into Business Devleopment Manager sales job, or an experienced BDM in a similar IT space.
n
- Proven success in enterprise account management, business development, or client engagement within technology or professional services.
n
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
n
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including engagement at executive level.
n
- Confident presenting solutions, negotiating outcomes, and influencing decision-makers.
n
- A proactive, strategic mindset with a genuine focus on delivering value for customers.
