Concrete Agitator Driver / Civil Labourer / All-Rounder

GBM Contractors is seeking an experienced and reliable Concrete Agitator Driver / Civil Labourer / All-Rounder to join our growing team, working across a variety of civil construction and concreting projects throughout Gippsland and regional Victoria.

n

This is a hands-on, varied role that combines operating our concrete agitator truck with assisting the crew on-site across a range of civil construction activities. No two days are the same, with work including footpaths, roadworks, drainage, guardrail projects, concrete works and general civil maintenance.

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Operating and driving a concrete agitator truck
n
- Delivering concrete safely and efficiently to job sites
n
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and maintaining equipment standards
n
- Assisting with concrete preparation, boxing, pouring and finishing
n
- Supporting general civil works including site preparation, drainage, roadworks and labouring tasks
n
- Operating plant and equipment where licensed and experienced (excavator, skid steer, etc.)
n
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes
n

Our work is predominantly throughout Gippsland, with some travel across regional Victoria and occasional away work (LAFHA).

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Previous concrete agitator truck driving experience (essential)
n
- HR Truck Licence (minimum)
n
- Construction Induction (White Card)
n
- Previous experience in civil construction, concreting, or a similar hands-on role
n
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to assist across all aspects of the business
n
- Ability to pass a Police Check
n
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
n
- Ability to pass a Fitness for Work and Fitness to Drive assessment
n

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- HC Truck Licence
n
- Excavator and/or skid steer operating experience
n
- Traffic Control tickets
n
- Final trim experience
n
- Drainage, retaining wall or general civil construction experience
n
