TOTAL GROWER SERVICES BURNETT (TGS BURNETT), a key division of METAGEN, is seeking a driven MANAGER &SALES; AGRONOMIST to lead our Bundaberg-based operations. You'll oversee a high-performing agronomy team, drive regionalsales of Metagen products, and maintain close engagement with our valued grower clients.

Your Core Focus

- Lead and grow Metagen product sales in the Bundaberg region
n
- Manage crop-monitoring programs, ensuring timely and high-quality service
n
- Foster strong grower relationships and uncover new business opportunities
n

Your Key Responsibilities

n

- Plan and allocate crop-monitoring visits, ensuring effective and strategic field coverage
n
- Oversee QA of all crop-monitoring reports, tissue/soil analyses, and grower recommendations
n
- Develop and execute local sales strategies to achieve consistent revenue growth
n
- Mentor a team of 2 Agronomists and a part-time Market Growth Coordinator
n
- Personally maintain relationships with key clients and explore regional growth opportunities
n
- Manage stock control, invoicing accuracy, and operating budgets
n




- Enforce WHS compliance across all field and office activities
n
- Provide ongoing training and career development for agronomy staff
n

How Success Is Measured

- 95%+ of reports delivered within 24 hours of monitoring
n
- Positive net profit from TGS Burnett operations
n

About You

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Entomology, or a related field
n
- Minimum 5 years hands-on crop-monitoring experience, preferably in vegetables or tree crops
n
- Proven success in sales and stakeholder management
n
- Strong knowledge of crop diagnostics and a passion for mentoring junior agronomists
n
- Experience with Metagen products (desirable)
n

Working Conditions & Benefits

- Schedule: 4 days in the field + 1 day office-based
n
- Salary: $100,000 per annum + Super
n
- Fully maintained company vehicle (incl. up to 6 return trips/year to Brisbane)
