Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader and based at our Geelong Wire Mill, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical maintenance services across site operations, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

What you will be doing:
n
n
- Execute preventative and breakdown maintenance to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.
n
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation and control faults efficiently.
n
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimise fixed plant performance.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
n
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and site requirements.
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
n
n
Hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm. The team is transitioning to a 9 day fortnight, providing an RDO (Rostered Day Off) every two weeks.
n
Earn a base rate of $46-$51 per hour (depending on experience), plus electrical licence allowance and tool allowance.

What you will bring:

- A Grade Electrical Licence - essential for safe oversight of site-based electrical work
n
- Cert III in Electrotechnology as a foundation for hands‐on electrical maintenance
n
- Proven experience working with Siemens PLCs, ABB drives and AC/DC motor systems
n
- Strong fault‐finding and troubleshooting skills across industrial electrical and control systems
n
- Exposure to instrumentation, automation, or control systems (Cert IV highly regarded)
n
- Experience in heavy industry or combustion equipment, with SAP knowledge advantageous
n
