Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bike Mechanic with strong e-bike knowledge to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, assembling, and maintaining both traditional bicycles and electric bikes to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cycling technology, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop setting.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Diagnose, service, and repair bicycles and e-bikes
n
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on e-bike systems
n
- Assemble new bikes and complete pre-delivery inspections
n
- Perform routine servicing including brakes, drivetrains, suspension, and wheel work
n
- Install and configure e-bike components including motors, batteries, displays, and controllers
n
- Use diagnostic software and tools for major e-bike systems
n
- Maintain accurate workshop records and service reports
n
- Ensure workshop cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards are maintained
n
- Provide customers with technical advice and product recommendations
n




- Assist with warranty assessments and claims where required
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic is essential
n
- Experience working with e-bikes and electrical systems preferred
n
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
n
- Knowledge of major e-bike systems and components
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to manage workshop timelines and priorities efficiently
n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n
- Experience with Bosch, Shimano, Bafang, or similar e-bike systems
n
- Electrical or electronics experience highly regarded
n
- Current driver's licence preferred
n
