We are now looking for a qualified, experienced full time Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit and supportive team. About the role
n
This is a varied, hands‐on nursing role suited to a qualified Veterinary Nurse who is confident working across surgery, hospital, pathology, treatment, floating and reception shifts. You will be supported by a large veterinary team with a broad skill set across small animal, mixed and dairy medicine.

For nurses with an interest in mixed animal medicine, there may also be opportunities to assist with large animal work.

Key responsibilities
n

- Providing high-quality patient care across hospital and surgical nursing
n
- Placing IV catheters and setting up fluids
n
- Monitoring anaesthetics to a high standard
n
- Assisting with pathology, treatments and general nursing duties
n
- Performing nurse consults
n
- Supporting reception and client care when required
n
- Contributing to a positive, supportive and collaborative team culture
n
n
About you
n
We are seeking a passionate and empathetic qualified veterinary nurse to join our welcoming team. You will bring:
n
n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technician degree (essential)
n
- At least 2 years' experience in a busy veterinary practice
n
- Strong, well‐rounded nursing skills
n
- A genuine passion for patient care and client service
n
- A positive, caring and proactive "can do" attitude
n
- Commitment to contributing to a supportive and positive workplace culture
n
- Availability to work full-time, including on‐call shifts (usually two per week) and 1 in 4 Saturdays
n
