About the Opportunity
n
Due to continued growth, we have multiple full time employment opportunities available for experienced Panel Beaters.
n
Working within a professional collision repair environment, you'll complete structural and non-structural vehicle repairs while working closely with Estimators, Production Managers, Spray Paintors and Quality Controllers to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality repair outcomes hiring Across Multiple Queensland Locations including:

Key Duties and Responsibilities
n
n
- Prepare repaired vehicle panels and components for refinishing using approved preparation techniques.
n
- Mix, match and prepare automotive paint colours to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
n
- Apply primers, base coats, clear coats and specialised coatings using spray painting equipment and approved refinishing methods.
n
- Carry out colour blending, refinishing, polishing and detailing to achieve high-quality finishes.
n
- Inspect painted surfaces to ensure colour accuracy, finish quality and compliance with manufacturer and workplace standards.
n
- Identify paint defects and carry out rectification work where required.
n
- Maintain spray booths, spray guns,
paint mixing equipment and associated tools in accordance with workplace procedures.
n
- Follow manufacturer repair methods, paint system specifications and insurer repair requirements.
n
- Work collaboratively with Panel Beaters, Estimators, Production Managers and Quality Controllers to ensure efficient workflow and repair completion.
n
- Maintain accurate records of work completed using workshop management systems.
n
- Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements, environmental procedures and hazardous materials handling guidelines.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and protected work environment.
n
- Assist with mentoring apprentices or junior team members where appropriate.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workshop productivity and quality outcomes.
n

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent industry experience.
n
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter within the collision repair industry.
n
- Strong knowledge of automotive refinishing processes, colour matching and paint application techniques.
n
- Experience using modern refinishing equipment, spray booths and paint systems.
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
n

Salary
n
$85,000 – $115,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
