Job Description
The Collective is seeking an experienced and detail-focused Bookkeeper to join our Corporate Services team and support the financial operations of our growing group of businesses.
n
Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring strong financial controls and reporting practices.

What you will be doing
n
Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
n
Preparing financial reports, reconciliations and supporting month-end processes.
n
Processing payroll, including wages, commissions and employee payments.
n
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance requirements.
n
Assisting with audit preparation and financial documentation.
n
Onboard and offboard employees accurately.
n
Providing insights and support to improve financial processes and systems.
n
What you bring
n
Minimum certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting. Degree or higher highly desirable but not essential.
n
2+ years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting or a similar finance role.
n
Strong understanding of accounts, payroll and financial reporting processes.
n
High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
n
Confidence using Xero, accounting software and Microsoft Excel
n
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
n
Professional, discreet and solutions-focused approach.
n
Experience in real estate or a sales-based setting is advantageous.
