We're looking for an experienced and motivated Afternoon Shift Team Leader to join our growing warehouse team in Yatala.

This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll be responsible for leading a small team of warehouse staff, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately, safely and on time. You'll be leading by example, driving productivity, maintaining a positive team culture and helping us deliver exceptional service to some of Australia's leading retail brands.

This is a 6-month contract to support a significant growth period within our business, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Lead, coach and motivate the afternoon shift warehouse team
n
Ensure daily picking, packing and dispatch targets are achieved
n
Monitor productivity, quality and accuracy throughout the shift
n
Allocate work and manage labour to maximise efficiency
n
Support the onboarding and training of new team members
n
Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment
n
Assist with inventory control, stock investigations and cycle counts
n
Lead by example and assist with warehouse operations whenever required
n
About you
n
To be successful in this role you'll have:
n
Previous experience leading a warehouse or distribution team
n
Robust leadership and people management skills
n
Excellent communication and problem‐solving abilities
n
A positive, energetic and hands‐on approach to leadership
n
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
n
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
The ability to work under pressure in a fast‐paced environment
n
A current Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
n
