Scope and General Purpose of Job

To create an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.

Main Duties / Operational
n
n
- To provide a courteous, professional, effective and flexible service at all times following the Operational Standards of Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park.
n
- To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
n
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu and ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and up-sell alternatives.
n
- To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organised at all times.
n
- To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
n
- To provide excellent customer service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
n
- Adheres to F&B; standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and continuity of service
n
- Ensure outlet is set and ready prior to service
n
- Ensure accurate receipt of monies
n
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements are adhered too at all times
n
- Working closely with the kitchen team to provide seamless service
n
n
** Must have availability to work a 7 day rotating roster
n
