The Opportunity

n





Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of Riverside Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, strong team engagement, and outstanding business performance.

n

Working closely with our culinary, events, and hotel teams, you'll create seamless experiences across breakfast, lunch, dinner, conferences, and special events.

n

In This Role, You Will:

- Lead and inspire the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
n
- Take ownership of daily operations and service excellence
n
- Be visible on the floor, coaching and supporting your team during service
n
- Drive revenue through upselling initiatives, promotions, and guest engagement
n
- Build a positive team culture through recruitment, training, mentoring, and recognition
n
- Manage rosters, labour costs, productivity, and operational budgets
n
- Oversee stock control, ordering, cost management, and wastage minimisation
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA, WHS, and brand standards
n
- Maintain exceptional presentation, ambience, and cleanliness standards
n
- Partner with the Head Chef and wider hotel team to deliver successful events, functions, and group bookings
n

About You

n

You're a hospitality professional who leads with energy, positivity, and professionalism. You genuinely enjoy developing people,



delighting guests, and achieving results.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or Senior Supervisor in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume venue
n
- A strong service mindset and passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
n
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
n
- Experience managing rosters, labour costs, and operational performance
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
n
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure
n
- A passion for food, beverages, wine, and hospitality
n
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and occasional split shifts
n
- Current RSA certification
n
