The Role
n
This position will see you working across a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including:
n
You will have the opportunity to autonomously manage files while also working closely with senior practitioners on complex matters.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Managing your own litigation files from commencement through to resolution
n
- Conducting preliminary case assessments and assisting with litigation strategy
n
- Drafting pleadings, submissions, advice, and complex correspondence
n
- Preparing matters for Court proceedings, mediations, hearings, and ADR
n
- Appearing in Court and attending negotiations and mediations
n
- Advising a diverse range of clients from individuals through to corporate entities
n
- Supporting junior staff and contributing to the ongoing growth of the practice
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- Minimum 4-5 years' PAE within commercial litigation, dispute resolution, or similar practice areas
n
- Strong understanding of Court and NCAT procedures
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities with autonomy and initiative
n
- Commercially minded with a strong client-focused approach
n
