As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter / Mechanical Technician to join our team.

n

The Role:

n

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Fitter, Mechanic, or Plumber with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on technical work.

n

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, repair, testing, and servicing of hydraulic equipment within our manufacturing environment.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Assembly of AC/DC hydraulic power units.
n
- Overhaul and repair of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and drives.
n
- Hydraulic repairs, servicing, testing, and fault diagnosis.
n
- Fitting and assembly of mechanical components, tools, and sub-assemblies.
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
n
- Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment issues.
n
- Monitoring equipment condition and reporting defects.
n
- Working with various materials including steel, cast iron, and aluminium.
n
- Maintaining a clean, secure, and organised work environment.
n

Skills & Experience:

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Relevant trade qualifications and experience.
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
n




- Previous experience in a fitter, mechanical, manufacturing, or assembly role.
n
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Hydraulic industry experience.
n
- Manual lathe and milling machine experience.
n
- Experience working with hydraulic components and systems.
n

Additional Information:

n

Full-time position.

n

7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, or

n

8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

n

Interviews will be conducted at our Clayton facility.

n
