Bored? In need of a recent challenge? Star Liquor is looking for the next superstar to join Queensland's largest independent liquor group as a Retail Manager at its store in Forest Lake!

Main Duties:

n

n
- Managing the smooth-running operations of our liquor store(s) to the highest standards.
n
- Creating and enhancing our teams customer service ethos, imparting your liquor industry knowledge in the crucial areas of customer service, product display and management, team building and marketing implementation.
n
- Assisting other local sites with the management needs of satellite stores.
n
- Liaise with the team business coach in relation to any retail operational matters.
n
- Responsible for all retail staff
n
- Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials and ticket writing
n
- Ensuring that staff are informed of day-to-day duties
n




- Pricing of stock and maintaining stock control
n
- Picking stock for internal transfers
n
- Maintain cellar or liquor store in good order with a high standard of cleanliness
n
- Monitoring defined staff presentation and grooming standards
n
- Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by management
n

Experience required:

n

n
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer servicepractices
n
- Solid communication and interpersonalskills
n
- Customer servicefocus; Friendly, helpful, confident, and engagingpersonality
n
- Basic administrationskills
n

Licences:

- RSA Certificate
n
- Driver's licence
n

n

Approximately 45 hours per week is expected in this salaried hands-on position and will include weekends and evening work.
