We're partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Payroll Officer with strong hands-on experience in SAP and SuccessFactors.

This role is ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys ownership, complexity, and working within structured systems; someone who takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and getting payroll right every time.

About the Role

n

You'll play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant end-to-end payroll for a large, complex workforce. Working closely with HR and Finance, you'll be trusted as a subject-matter expert across SAP payroll processing and SuccessFactors data management.

n

This is a true senior hands-on role not just ticking boxes, but understanding how payroll, systems, and legislation intersect.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- End-to-end payroll processing using SAP Payroll
n
- Managing and maintaining employee data within SuccessFactors
n
- Interpreting and applying Awards, EBAs, and employment legislation
n
- Processing PAYG, Superannuation, payroll tax, and statutory reporting
n
- Managing payroll reconciliations and month-end activities
n




- Supporting audits, compliance checks, and reporting requirements
n
- Acting as a point of escalation for complex payroll queries
n
- Partnering with HR on onboarding, terminations, and data integrity
n
- Contributing to system improvements, testing, and process optimisation
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer
n
- Strong, practical experience with SAP Payroll is essential
n
- Hands-on experience using SuccessFactors is mandatory
n
- Excellent knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
n
- Comfortable working in a high-volume or complex payroll environment
n
- Detail-oriented, organised, and confident owning your work
n
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
n
