Currently seeking a technically astute Corporate Accountant for an initial three-month interim period. This role has been designed to support the group finance function during a high-activity phase, with a strong likelihood of extension for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional technical capability and cultural fit.

The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the group's financial reporting framework. This is a "hands-on" corporate role that requires a deep understanding of complex group structures and a commitment to meeting strict statutory deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
n

- Lead the end-to-end monthly consolidation process for multiple entities across the Australian and international portfolio.
n
- Take ownership of the preparation of statutory financial statements in strict accordance with AASB/IFRS and Australian corporate legislation.
n
- Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors, assisting with any queries.
n
- Provide expert advice on complex accounting matters, including intercompany eliminations, foreign exchange translations, and revenue recognition.
n
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of monthly and quarterly tax compliance requirements (BAS/GST).
n
- Identify and implement enhancements to the consolidation process to drive greater efficiency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate:
n
We are looking for a professional who can hit the ground running. You will be comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-growth setting and possess the resilience to manage competing priorities.

- CA or CPA qualified.
n
- Proven experience in group consolidations within a complex corporate environment is mandatory.
n
- Demonstrated success in preparing full-suite statutory financial statements.
n
- Previous experience within the FMCG, or consumer goods sectors is highly regarded.
n
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large-scale ERP systems (NetSuite highly desirable).
n
- A proactive, self-directed mindset with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
