River Road Taver'n is a modern hospitality destination that has quickly become a favourite among locals since opening in 2024. Combining exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere, the venue features a contemporary bistro, vibrant sports bar, gaming lounge, and bottle shop, offering something for every guest.

We are currently seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead our gaming operations and drive exceptional guest experiences. This hands‐on leadership role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional with a strong understanding of gaming compliance, proven operational expertise, and a passion for developing high‐performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage daily gaming operations in line with Queensland gaming legislation
n
- Ensure full compliance with RSG requirements and OLGR regulations
n
- Lead, train and roster gaming and bar staff
n
- Monitor gaming performance, revenue and KPIs
n
- Manage gaming machine maintenance and service providers
n
- Oversee cash handling, reconciliations and gaming floats
n
- Handle escalated customer enquiries and responsible gaming matters
n
- Maintain a safe and compliant gaming environment
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience as a Gaming Manager or Gaming Supervisor
n
- Previous experience in Clearance Procedures
n
- Strong knowledge of QLD gaming compliance and regulations
n
- Current RSA & RSG (QLD) certificates
n




- Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue Certificate (RMLV)
n
- Proven leadership and team development skills
n
- Strong financial, reporting and problem‐solving abilities
n
- Availability to work nights and weekends as required
n
