About the role

n

The Business Technology Partner position has been created to enhance the effectiveness of the technology function as it continues to grow and transform. This role will play a critical part in the delivery of a 'state of the art' technology function that is scalable and able to carry this business in the future.

n

Some of the key tasks aligned to this role include:

n

- Provide technological advice and guidance to business units as a Technology business partner
n
- Collaborate with your stakeholders to gain a practical understanding of business requirements and provide high level solution design and supporting documentation.
n
- Preparation of business cases including the commercial aspect of costs vs. benefit and securing funding.
n




- Drive process improvement initiatives through a continuous improvement lens.
n
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders throughout the business where you have positioned yourself as a trusted advisor.

About You!

n

n
- You will hold relevant IT qualifications such as a degree and project management / business analysis related certifications.
n
- You are proven at building business cases to support IT projects of varying sizes and value.
n
- You are a commercial thinker who understands investment appraisals, ROI / Cost vs. Benefits.
n
- You are solid with continuous / process improvement initiatives (Six Sigma certified applicants will be highly regarded)
n
- You are able to bring order and organisation to technology projects, where you can prioritise and schedule work to meet demands.
n
- Interpersonally, you are exceptional at building trust and confidence with your stakeholders.
n

Due to the broad nature of this role, the successful candidate could have a background as an IT PM, Scrum Master, Portfolio Manager or IT executive looking for a standalone role that can have real impact.
