About the Role

n

We are looking for compassionate and motivated Pathway Carers to join our team across all care communities in Perth & Western Australia.

n

This role has been designed as an entry pathway into aged care, providing you with hands-on experience, structured learning and the prospect to build a meaningful long-term career supporting older Australians.

n

Working alongside experienced care teams and under the guidance of our clinical team , you'll assist residents with their daily care, wellbeing, social connection and quality of life while developing the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding future in aged care.

n

No previous aged care experience is required - we'll provide the training, support and career pathway to help you succeed via the Opal HealthCare Academy!

n





What You'll Do:

n

n
- Support residents with daily living tasks in a safe and respectful way
n
- Build genuine relationships and provide meaningful social connection
n
- Work alongside experienced care teams in a supportive setting
n
- Learn on the job while working towards your Certificate III
n

n

You will have:

n

n
- The ability to work Monday to Friday on AM morning shift
n
- A compassionate, caring and people-focused nature
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- The ability to follow direction and work reliablyThe right to work in Australia
n
- The ability to complete pre-employment checks (medical, police, NDIS)
