We are currently seeking experienced Substation Electricians to join a projectin regional NSW.

This is an opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest and most significant high-voltage transmission infrastructure projects.

THE ROLE As a Substation Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment across the Substation project.

Key responsibilities include:

- Installation of switchboards, control panels and switchgear
- Installation and termination of cabling
- Installation of earthing systems
- Installation of transformers and associated substation equipment
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Cable testing and fault finding
- Electrical testing and quality inspections
- Identifying and rectifying installation defects
- Working alongside engineers, supervisors, contractors and project management
- Maintaining a high standard of electrical workmanship and site safety
- Ensuring all work complies with project, electrical and safety requirements

SUBSTATION ELECTRICIANS

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

To be considered, you will have:

- Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Electrical Licence
- Construction White Card
- Working Platform / EWP High Risk Work Licence
- Current LV Rescue
- Previous experience working on substations, HV infrastructure or major electrical construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Additional high-risk work licences and HV experience will be highly regarded.
