About the role

n

Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Inpatient Unit 1 team, in a permanent part time (32 hours per week) basis.

n

This is an exciting chance to work within a dynamic and supportive clinical environment where you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse inpatient cohort. As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play an integral role in delivering safe, evidence-based care while supporting patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.

This position will involve working 24/7 rotating rostered shifts including early, late, night and weekend shifts.

n

Salary range: $42.99 - $55.14 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+ access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing

As a valued member of our Medical & Rehabilitation Inpatients ward, you will uphold the highest clinical standards while:

- Delivering optimal patient outcomes throughout every stage of the patient journey and continuum of care
n
- Applying exceptional clinical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of procedures to manage patients with outstanding care
n
- Integrating quality and risk management strategies seamlessly into daily service delivery
n




- Collaborating effectively with the nursing team to ensure consistently exceptional care
n
- Maintaining and advancing your professional skills and knowledge to support ongoing growth and development
n

About you

n

Key skills and experience you bring include:

n

n
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
n
- 2 years post grad experience as a Registered Nurse working in the Medical/ Rehab environment
n
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environment
n
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients
