A. IMS / Framework Development & Implementation

n

Assist with the development, review and implementation of the Howden Australia IMS aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

n

Maintain and improve procedures, forms and templates; support document control and change management to keep site packs current and audit‐ready. (clarified from original)

B. Field Assurance (Audits, Inspections, Permits)

n

Conduct site inspections/audits of worksites, plant and equipment; identify hazards, assess risks, and verify control effectiveness.

n

Verify correct use of PPE and compliance with permits to work and site standards.

n

Prepare and submit site safety documentation (e.g., JSEAs, safety files) in collaboration with Service/Project Managers.

n

Provide first‐response support to site incidents; lead/assist structured investigations (e.g., ICAM) to root cause; produce reports and corrective action plans; track closure to verify effectiveness. (method clarified)

Record and report hazards, near misses, injuries and health issues; support trend analysis and lessons learned.

n

D. Training, Engagement & Culture

n

Deliver toolbox talks and targeted training topics; coach supervisors and contractors on protected work practices.

n

Champion Life Saving Rules (LSRs) and Just Culture principles to reinforce safe decision‐making.

n

E. Documentation, Reporting & Readiness

n

Maintain accurate records (observations, audits, NCRs, VFLs); prepare monthly EHS status reports for trend analysis and management review.

n

Support internal/external ISO audits and site readiness.

n

F. Stakeholder Interface

n

Work closely with Project/Service Managers, Engineers, site supervisors and client representatives to embed controls and resolve issues.
