We're on the lookout for an Assistant Venue Manager to help lead our dynamic team and deliver the ultimate guest experience.

The Role

n

As our Assistant Venue Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the venue. You'll be hands-on — leading the floor, motivating your team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. You'll balance service excellence with operational know-how, keeping standards high and the energy higher.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Lead and inspire front-of-house and bar staff to deliver outstanding hospitality

n

Oversee service across all areas — bar, restaurant, and entertainment

n

Support rostering, stock control, and ordering to meet business targets

n

Maintain compliance with RSA, OH&S;, and venue safety standards

n

Drive a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

n

Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care





n

Assist with functions, events, and venue promotions

n

About You

n

You're a confident, energetic leader who knows how to balance professionalism with personality. You bring solid hospitality experience and a genuine passion for great service.

You'll bring:

n

Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in hospitality

n

Strong communication and leadership skills

n

A hands-on approach and ability to stay calm under pressure

n

Great attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction

n

Availability to work nights and weekends

n

Current RSA

n
