Provision of Specified Personnel on a time and materials basis in the following role: Senior

n

Cloud DevOps Engineer — SFIA Level 5, to undertake tasks that include, but are not limited to,

n

the following:

n

n
- Design, build, and maintain Azure-based cloud and hybrid platform infrastructure to support
n
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes-native workloads including deployments, stateful sets,
n
- config maps, secrets management, and persistent volumes.
n
- Container Registry, Azure Data services, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and related services.
n
- Design and maintain multi-stage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML-based) and GitHub
n
- Acti
n
- Integrate automated security scanning (SAST, DAST, container image scanning) into pipeline
n
- stages to enforce shift-left security.
n
- Author and maintain modular Terraform configurations for all Azure infrastructure using
n
- remote state management and workspaces.
n
- Implement GitOps workflows for declarative setting management and automated
n
- rollback capability.
n
- Configure and maintain centralised observability tooling — Azure Monitor, Log Analytics,
n
- Application Insights,



and Prometheus/Grafana.
n
- Implement and maintain RBAC for Azure subscriptions, and CI/CD pipeline access using
n
- Entra ID and managed identities.
n
- Ensure platform configurations align with Essential Eight maturity controls and ISM
n
- requirements — patching, hardening, and multi-factor authentication.
n
- Configure and maintain network security controls: NSGs, Azure Firewall, private endpoints,
n
- and VNet integration.
n
- Provide L2/L3 incident triage and resolution across platform and infrastructure components.
n
- Produce and maintain infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, and DR/BCP documentation.
n
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to agency operational teams to build internal platform capability.
n
- Coach and mentor team members; liaise with Senior Executive Officers on complex platform
n
