As the peak body for superannuation, ASFA plays an important role in supporting our members from across the superannuation sector with research, advocacy, education and collaboration to help Australians enjoy a dignified retirement.We are seeking a proactive and hands‐on Manager Finance and Corporate Services to join our team.
n
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead our finance function while supporting a range of corporate services activities, including people operations and corporate governance. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys working across the business, improving processes and partnering with stakeholders.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Lead the day-to-day finance function, including financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable and statutory compliance.
n
- Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting to support business decision‐making.
n
- Coordinate the annual audit and maintain strong financial controls.
n
- Drive improvements to finance systems and processes, including Microsoft Business Central.
n
- Support people operations, including recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
n
- Assist with Board and Committee administration, governance activities, and statutory lodgements.
n

About you
n
You'll have demonstrated experience in financial management and enjoy working across a broad range of responsibilities.
n
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
n
- At least five years' experience in finance or corporate services.
n
- Experience preparing financial statements and coordinating external audits.
n
- Experience leading or supervising finance staff.
n
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Business Central experience is highly regarded).
n

Experience in a membership, not‐for‐profit or professional services environment, together with exposure to HR administration or corporate governance, will be highly regarded.
n
