Design Manager – Full‐time, Permanent (Doncaster, VIC). This role leads the design of high‐voltage infrastructure and renewable energy projects, coordinating across electrical, civil, structural and SCADA disciplines.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the design team for high‐voltage substations, transmission lines, wind farms and battery storage systems.
n
- Collaborate with primary and secondary design experts, overhead lines, civil and structural disciplines to integrate all inputs into a cohesive design.
n
- Ensure designs are compliant, efficient and aligned with client and industry requirements.
n
- Act as a central technical reference for engineering management, design teams and external stakeholders.
n
- Resolve design challenges, maintain consistency across disciplines and contribute to the successful delivery of large, multi‐discipline projects.
n

Qualifications
n
n
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
n
- Chartered Professional Engineer status.
n
- Significant experience in high‐voltage engineering design within utilities or renewables.
n
- Track record of contributing to large, multi‐discipline projects.
n
- Strong understanding of transmission grid projects and renewable energy connection requirements.
n
- Excellent communication and time‐management skills.
n
