Cold Storage Counterbalance, Slip Sheet, Tugger Operators

EXPERIENCED FORKLIFT OPERATORS - COLD STORAGE

We are seeking reliable, experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators for ongoing work in a busy Cold Storage environment.

This is a full-time hours, Monday to Friday position, and we are looking for people who are genuinely seeking stable, ongoing work.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

- Proven Counterbalance Forklift experience
- Experience operating Crown Joystick machinery
- Experience using Slipsheet / Push Plate attachments
- Current LF Forklift Licence

THE ROLE ALSO INVOLVES:

- General warehouse and labouring duties as required
- Container unloading
- Manual handling and the ability to safely lift up to 25kg
- Working as part of a team in a Cold Storage environment

HOURS:

- Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
- AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- PM Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
- Applicants must be adaptable and available for overtime when required

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia




- This position is not suitable for Working Holiday or Student Visa holders due to the ongoing, full-time hours and availability required
- Strong verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly communicate with supervisors and co-workers and understand workplace instructions and safety procedures
- Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
- Own PPE, including steel-capped safety boots
- Freezer clothing rated to -47°C preferred - assistance with purchasing suitable freezer gear can be provided if required
- Current clean Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
