Job Description

OnSite Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Level 2 Traffic Controllers for ongoing work across Melbourne CBD, Northern, and South Eastern suburbs.

n

The majority of available work is day shift, Monday to Friday, so applicants must be available for daytime work. Afternoon and night shifts are available from time to time; however, these are less frequent.

n

We have a variety of opportunities available across roadworks, sporting events, festivals, and major infrastructure projects.

n

- Predominantly Monday to Friday day shifts

- Occasional afternoon and night shift opportunities

- Ongoing work for reliable and motivated workers

- Variety of site and event-based assignments

Pay Rates

n

n
- Day Shift: $35.05 - $37.99 per hour + Super
n
- Afternoon Shift: $42.06 per hour + Super
n

n

About the Role

n

Your duties may include:

n

n
- Stop/Slow Bat operations
n
- Traffic management and control
n
- Setting up and packing down traffic signage
n
- Following Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
n
- Maintaining a protected environment for workers, motorists, and the public
n

n

What You'll Need

n

To be considered,



you must have:

n

n
- Current TC1 and TC2 Traffic Control Tickets
n
- Completion of the required minimum 20-hour practical placement
n
- White Card
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Full PPE, including a two-way radio
n
- Ability to accept shifts at short notice
n
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
n
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
n

Desirable

n

n
- First Aid Certificate
n
- Previous experience working on roadwork or event traffic management sites
n

n

Applicants must be available to accept last-minute bookings, which may occasionally be offered the day before, or on the morning of, a shift. We will only be accepting Level 2 applicants due to the nature of the work.
