Job Description
Project Manager - Commercial Aluminium Windows and Doors
n
Step up. Run your own projects.
n
You're a Contracts Administrator or Senior Project Coordinator with 5-6 years in the game. You know how to read a program, chase a variation, and hold your ground on site. But where you are now, someone else has the PM title - and you're two years away from getting it.
n
Here's your shortcut.
n
Supreme Aluminium Windows has been manufacturing and installing commercial aluminium windows and doors in Sydney for over 60 years. We deliver for schools, hospitals, and government projects - steady, quality work with clients who come back. Our estimating, factory, and installation teams are established and capable. What we need is the person who runs the projects.
n
The role
n
You'll own your projects end-to-end, reporting directly to the Managing Director:
n
n
- Site management - coordinate installation crews, sequencing, access, and site relationships with builders
n
- Client liaison - be the first point of contact for builders and project stakeholders; own the relationship, not just the paperwork
n
- Contracts administration - variations, RFIs, EOTs, progress claims, and defending our position when it counts
n
- Program & delivery - drive fabrication and installation timelines from order to practical completion
n
n
This is a genuine step-up role. You won't be shadowing a senior PM - you'll be the PM, with the backing of an owner who's been doing this for decades and a business that knows how to fabricate and install.
n
What we're looking for
n
n
- 5-6 years in commercial construction as a CA, Project Coordinator, or similar - subcontractor-side experience strongly preferred (windows, façades, glazing, joinery, shopfitting, or similar trade packages)
n
- Proven experience managing variations, progress claims, and back-charges - you'll be asked for specifics
n
- Confidence dealing directly with builders' site teams and project managers, including the hard conversations
n
- Ability to read architectural drawings and understand construction sequencing
n
- Driver's licence and willingness to be on Sydney sites regularly
n
- White Card
n
n
Why Supreme
n
n
- The title and the autonomy - run projects your way, without layers of management above you
n
- Stability - 60+ years of continuous operation, solid pipeline of commercial and government work
n
- Direct line to the Managing Director - decisions get made fast; no head-office politics
n
- Career trajectory - as the business grows, so does this role
