Job Description

Experienced Chef / Head Baker required to work and manage a small team in the preparation and dispatch of food from our central production factory in Bulimba to six stores and weekly markets across Brisbane.

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Learn and control ALL aspects of production, including;
n
- Freshly produced Bagel fillings.
n
- Packaging all products ready for dispatch
n
- Logistics
n
- Control and implement strict food safety & hygiene practices set out in our Food SafetyProgram.
n
- Implementing & recording of daily cleaning schedules
n
- Recording of all food/fridge temperatures to comply with BCC regulations & guidelines.
n
- Training of staff in Food Safety, Hygiene and WHS
n
- Ordering and stock control.
n
- Receiving, documenting & rotation of stock.
n




- Inspiring team to reach daily production targets.
n
- Rostering.
n

n

You will be required to have:

n

n
- 5 years or more, managing Baking or food preparation.
n
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or equivalent)
n
- A basic understanding of Excel (Essential)
n
- Australian Drivers License
n

n

In addition, you will need to be:

n

n
- Contactable at all times when the factory is running
n
- Prepared to step in at anytime you can't fill a rostered position
n

n

This position is a full time, Monday to Friday, with the possibility to step in on weekends or nightshift when necessary.
