Principal Consultant – OT, Physio or EP (Gold Coast)

n As a result of organic growth, we're seeking a Principal Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist) to champion the success of their Southport team.

The Role

n

n
- Provide training & coaching to 2 Rehabilitation Consultants & support more team members as the team grows
n
- Foster great relationships with employers, insurers, injured workers & treating practitioners
n
- Manage a caseload predominantly within the WorkCover QLD scheme
n
- Deliver workplace rehabilitation, RTW & injury management services
n
- Complete initial, workplace, ergonomic & functional assessments
n
- Identify barriers to recovery & develop practical RTW solutions
n
- Achieve positive recovery, engagement & return to work outcomes
n
- Initially, your role will involve approximately 20% leadership (training, coaching & customers) & 80% proactive case management
n
- Travel to visit clients around the Gold Coast - Burleigh, Currumbin & Coomera areas - referrals shared between the team & allocated as close to your home as possible

The Ideal Candidate

n

n
- AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist; or ESSA-Accredited Exercise Physiologist
n
- 2-3 years'+ Workplace Rehabilitation experience
n
- Exposure to leadership, training & coaching - Senior Consultants looking for the next step warmly encouraged to apply
n
- Outstanding relationship management - confident developing excellent stakeholder relationships
n
- Practical understanding of physical injury management
n
- Organised, proactive & accountable
n
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Comfortable working independently & contributing to a multi-disciplinary team
