About the Role

We are seeking a Traffic Operations Coordinator to join our growing traffic management team in Melbourne. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating people, plant, and resources across multiple worksites to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of traffic management services.

n

You'll work closely with clients, supervisors, and field crews, playing a vital role in keeping projects running smoothly across construction, civil, infrastructure, utilities, and event works.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Coordinate daily and forward scheduling of traffic controllers, supervisors, and equipment
n
- Ensure TrafficGuidance Schemes (TGS) and MOA's are implemented in line with permits and Victorian standards
n
- Liaise with clients, councils, and contractors regarding traffic management requirements
n
- Monitor live operations and respond to changes, incidents, or urgent requests
n
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, AS 1742, Austroads, and DoT Victoria requirements
n
- Maintain accurate scheduling, compliance, and operational records
n
- Support field teams with operational guidance and problem resolution
n

About You

n

You're highly organised, calm under pressure, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly, take ownership of outcomes,



and have a strong understanding of traffic management operations in Victoria.

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Previous experience in traffic management
n
- Strong knowledge of Victorian traffic management standards and compliance
n
- Current Driver Licence
n
- Construction Induction (White Card)
n
- Traffic Control / Traffic Management
n

n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience with scheduling or workforce management systems
n
- Experience working with construction, civil, infrastructure, or utility projects
n
- Knowledge of TGS's, MOA's, permits, and stakeholder notifications
n
