Electrical Project Manager – High-Rise Residential & Mixed-Use Developments

Atom Resources is partnering with a leading Tier 2 Electrical Contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of high-rise residential and mixed-use developments across Sydney.

n

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of secured projects and take ownership of electrical packages from pre-construction through to handover. You will be responsible for project delivery, client management, programme performance, procurement, and the leadership of site-based teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Working alongside experienced Site Managers, Supervisors, and project teams, you'll play a key role in delivering complex electrical installations on some of Sydney's most significant residential and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

n

- Manage the delivery of electrical packages on high-rise residential and mixed-use projects
n
- Oversee project planning, procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation
n
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, variations, and progress claims
n
- Lead and support Site Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors
n
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with builders, consultants, and clients
n
- Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved
n
- Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors,



and suppliers
n
- Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges
n
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
n
- Provide regular project reporting to senior management
n

Requirements

n

n
- NSW Electrical Licence or Electrical Engineering Qualification
n
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial electrical contracting
n
- MUST have experience delivering high-rise residential projects
n
- Mixed-use development experience will be highly regarded
n
- Experience managing electrical packages on projects valued at $5M+ preferred
n
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical, communications, and building services systems
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing multiple site teams
n
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and project controls
n
- Commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery
n
