Project Manager / Account Manager — Aged Care & Retirement Living | SA

Rogers Construction Group (RCG) is a privately owned Sydney-based commercial construction company delivering projects across NSW, with offices in Newcastle and Wollongong, and recently expanded into Melbourne & South Australia

We specialise in Education, Aged Care & Retirement Living, Social and Government Housing, Government, Industrial, Corporate and Retail projects up to $20m. The Opportunity

n

RCG's work in South Australia is expanding, and our aged care and retirement living clients are asking for more. This role exists because the demand is already there — we need the right person to meet it and grow it.

n

It's a genuine end-to-end role. You'll own your jobs from the first site walk right through to the final invoice: scoping the work, pricing it, delivering it, and keeping the client coming back. That's a rare mix. Most roles let you do one part of that. This one lets you own all of it.

Here's the balance that makes it work. You get the autonomy to build something that's genuinely yours — your clients, your pipeline, your patch. But you're not making it up as you go. RCG's established processes, templates, and systems sit underneath you, and a National Manager who's done this before sits alongside you. What You'll Be Doing

n

This role covers the full lifecycle — you win the work, you deliver it,



you run the commercials, and you grow the account.

n

Winning the Work

n

n
- Attend site for inspections — get in front of the work, understand the conditions, and build the relationship on the ground
n
- Scope CAPEX and maintenance projects, translating client needs into clear, deliverable scopes of work
n
- Create detailed quotes and estimates that are accurate, competitive, and well-covered
n

n

Delivering the Work

n

n
- End-to-end project management of your jobs — program, cost, quality, and safety, from award through to handover
n
- Attend quality inspections to make sure what we hand over is what we promised
n
- Prepare and manage WHS documentation in line with RCG's systems and client requirements
n

n

Running the Commercials

n

n
- Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders, engaging the right trades on the right terms
n
- Prepare progress claims and invoices, keeping cash flow accurate and on time
n

n

Growing the Patch

n

n
- Maintain and grow the SA pipeline — track opportunities, stay close to your clients, and keep the work coming
n
- Build repeat business through delivery quality and relationships people want to come back to
n
- Play a genuine part in growing RCG's presence and team in South Australia
n

n

Experience

n

n
- Experience in commercial construction across account management, estimating, project management, or a blend of all three
n




- A background in aged care, retirement living, health, or a similar live/occupied environment is highly regarded
n
- Demonstrated experience scoping and pricing CAPEX and maintenance works
n
- Sound project delivery capability — you've run jobs end to end and know what it takes
n
- Commercial competence across subcontracts, purchase orders, progress claims, and invoicing
n
- A working knowledge of WHS requirements and the discipline to keep documentation right
n
- Established South Australian client or subcontractor networks are a real advantage
n
- Tertiary qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field is welcome — but experience counts for more
n
